If you are familiar with Journey to the West or the 西游记, you probably know about the original story of the video. If not, to keep the story short, the Monkey King ( Sun Wukong) once encountered an enemy (6 Ears Macaque) who could transform into whoever he wanted to. No one could tell who was the real Sun Wukong. The 2 monkeys argued with each other, simply calling each other the fake one, with no substantial evidence. This is exactly what is happening with major prediction market platforms today. When a trader loses a trade, he simply argues that he is correct and the market should be resolved in his favour by using tokens. And another person with more money will counter back and make the market resolve another way. The question is, if this is how the market is resolved when people have opposing views, then what separates us humans from the 2 monkeys? Or the bigger question is, is there a way to resolve the market better? More transparently, more fairly and more efficiently? Us Overheat believes there is, by using AI. And AI here isn’t a buzzword, we have done our tests and right now we are confident that we can be the next leading oracle.
