@MillsTwitch yeah, Im active on the CFB 27 twitter reading all the negativity and Im having a blast with CFB 27. Its needs some love and some balancing but the gameplay is, Imo, great!

@POG_Juic3 @maxplayscfb you dont even need to offer. I did this same strategy for Year 2 with my 0* cupcake created school and finished 19th with 3 4* and 30 3*. Everything he said in this video works. Also the CPU big schools will sometimes try to sneak some players on the cheap so I dont feel so bad
English

@maxplayscfb Just to be sure I understand as long as i get them to hard commit, I then do a 0 NIL offer afterwards?
English

@NYYTyler @maxplayscfb No dont even offer. Just finish in first like he said
English

@maxplayscfb Should you offer a 4 star expecting ~200 NIL a 0 or 5 NIL scholarship if its last week of transfer portal and they have no other offers? Or just keep hours on them and hope they commit
English

@MisterCiv 2. Solid Pressure on QB 3. Contain the QB. These are opposing things though. You are either getting solid pressure or containing. If you stop flats and streaks you should be vulnerable to out routes and crossers
English

@maxplayscfb Also with the 4*. Pay attention to how much other teams interest bars are moving. You can tell by that if they are making a serious offer or not. If a team with major pipeline has a big jump, get out
English

@maxplayscfb I did scout the cheap 3* Would offer 1.5- 2x NIL. Ended up with 30*. Never used hours on 3*. Ended up with 3 4* using only hours. A lot of schools wait too late on 4* and if you get in early you can snatch them for zero NIL
English

after the patch, can confirm you can still dominate offline recruiting - how about the #33 class at AIR FORCE!!!
Most importantly, look at that NIL spend compared to my peers - others are spending 1400 for the same talent that cost us 200

English

@maxplayscfb I will say retention is hard. Once you do well with said players they want 200+ NIL the next year and I dont have that kind of bag
English

@RonaldHardathan @maxplayscfb I am about the same. Everything is 300% and K/P at 80%
English

@maxplayscfb Anyone have any good XP sliders to solve this?
Was thinking about just increasing the normal sliders to nearly 300 and lowering kicker and punter sliders to 65-75ish
English

my final post on the matter:
* are there about ~100 less unsigned 4-star recruits now? YES
* did EA just remove 100 4-stars and 440ish 3-stars and replace them with 2 star recruits? ALSO YES
but wait - they said they were going to make recruits progress more, right?
no evidence of it yet! Which still leads to the same problem where 10 years in the future, teams are getting a lot worse

English

@maxplayscfb I had a 0* cupcake create a school. End of Year 2 I had the 19th class while spending around 250 NIL. Its possible just have to know what to do. Went from a 69-78 overall
English

@mymarvelouslife @Poodle_YT Just looked it up. Alabama leads IRL 5* with 17 in the last 4 years. Georgia is second at 14. So the elite schools sign 3-4 a year. I agree that the top schools dominate the 5* but not like this is showing. This needs balanced to be divided among all of the top programs.
English

@jwal1983 @Poodle_YT breaks immersion for me smh.
in any given year in real life, a school having 5+ five stars is considered a lot. top programs usually cap out at like 3-4
English

Post CFB 27 title update, CPU recruiting appears to be fixed. Recruits aren’t going unsigned like before, and the teams are filling out their recruiting boards much better. Remains to be seen how coach XP settings are functioning and long term impacts of these changes.
Discord member shared this with me from Reddit

@DedicatedBeard @maxplayscfb Same, even then its rough. I would like to see some really elite players in the upper it's but even at 300%xp there are a handful of low 90's
English

i am so confused right now. as of 1:30pm EST today, i can say:
* EA reduced the number of forgotten four stars from a TON to under 5ish
* EA reduced total 4-stars from ~400 to ~300
* EA reduced total 3-stars from ~1400 to ~900
* EA increased total 2-stars from ~1200 to ~1800
but then also:
* i see no evidence that today's players are progressing more year over year?
* i see no evidence that new recruits have better dev traits?
* i see no evidence that 'today's recruits' are stronger than the 'recruits from before the patch'
So that means that:
* yes, players are no longer going unsigned
but
* are we sure more 4-stars and 3-stars are getting signed? or are we just generating less players?
very confused, especially given that we were supposed to see 'Adjusted offseason player progression to increase across the board' - where is that?
English

@flocko @Poodle_YT Agreed on the 2* and below get rid of then and create a slightly bigger range on 3*. OSU isnt signing that many 5* IRL though.
English

@jwal1983 @Poodle_YT biggest issue is only the top 3-5 teams still snag all the 5* recruits and that leaves a massive gap in talent between the rest of the pack
English

@MisterCiv I really hate how we as a community try to find one defense that stops everything. That isnt real football
English

@PAPAxC4 I created a 0* cupcake school. Every year my top players want 200+ NIL to stay. I've determined that developing players isnt in the cards. Every year I start freshman who are cheap.
English

@Call_Me_Jaden1 Just switched a slower elite dev 3* to TE. 79 overall pure possession
English

I am doing my TE archetype deep dive today and found something interesting… Anyone else notice Pure Possession TEs going extinct in CFB27?😂 I literally have 1 possession in this whole recruiting class and he a 1⭐️. Not sure what they did to my favorite TE archetype from last year but I don’t like it
