@SuperRareGames Perhaps community polls? Or a voting system based upon people who already have SRG accounts, or receive the newsletter? Or ways for people to submit the names of desired games? That way you can gauge interest in different titles?
In light of the recent PlayStation news, we're not slowing down.
We're working hard to preserve more incredible PS5 games.

@TarTarsaucegoon@iceteamyg@MatarOga@sophgbson If I remember correctly, it's a film about a secretary who types up letters for a boss who spanks her when she makes errors (spelling, punctuation). In one scene, he has her read out a letter and he spanks her whenever she reaches a mistake.
Sony responds to the backlash over ending PlayStation discs.
"We put in a lot of thought and time, and we cautiously considered this, and we came to this conclusion, and we're going to cautiously move this forward..."
@Genki_JPN Interesting, they said there were various reasons, ONE of which was the increasing digitalisation of media (despite film, tv, and music still being put out on disc, despite facing the same issue). But.. they didn't touch on ANY of the other reasons. I want to hear them say them.
Sony CFO Lin Tao says they will not change their plans to end physical disc production and will cautiously move forward with the plan!
"There are various reasons we made this decision, the biggest being that the digitalization of content overall has been progressing, that’s the big factor. It’s not just for PlayStation, but for all kinds of content, digitalization is progressing.
And so when we think about the future–and we put in a lot of thought and time, and we cautiously considered this–and we came to this conclusion, and we’re going to cautiously move this forward. And to this decision, we have received various opinions and people have strong views, and we understand that the community has put forth those views to us.
Games are loved by many people. It’s a form of entertainment that’s loved by people, and it’s connected to people’s fond memories in many cases. And so we understand those emotions. We want to consider that. And in the future digital ecosystem, how do we engage the gamers is something that we would like to continue to explore."

@drksnk@KiwamiCube Using the wayback machine, I was lucky enough to find a playlist of the videos. Out of the 7 videos in the list, 2 of them were not archived, the rest seem playable. web.archive.org/web/2023042220…
