Asielzoekers willen niets liever dan werken, geld verdienen, zich nuttig maken, gezellig samen eten met de kinderen, bidden, een praatje met de buren, een schouder om op uit te huilen als het een rotweek is, de rooie wangetjes van hun kinderen zien nadat ze moe terugkomen van het skaten buiten. In de noodopvang gaat dat niet. Maar ze willen het wel. Extreemrechts wil dat hun grote leugen blijft rondzingen dat asielzoekers lui zijn en niet willen werken. Nota bene het hardst geroepen door losers die zelf hun handen niet uit de mouwen steken en een uitkering opstrijken. Asielzoekers willen werken. Wie wil dat niet als je in een vreemd land moet zien te overleven? Ja, de taal is een barrière. Het is nog steeds een bende met het papierwerk. En onder werkgevers zitten best baasjes met vooroordelen of onwetendheid wat ze moeten doen om ze in te huren. Dus focus qua opvang, zowel met wonen als met ondersteuning, op werk. Ook COA-voorzitter Kapteijns zegt dst het arbeidspotentieel van bewoners van azc’s onvoldoende wordt benut.’

Weer zijn gewone mensen de dupe van dit stelletje malloten. Het spoor blokkeren is verboden. Punt. Dit is misbruik van het zo belangrijke demonstratierecht. Goed dat de politie snel ingrijpt. We will only leave if you give us $100,000 each” “This situation is going to get worse for you,” Hosaifa allegedly said. “If you want peace of mind and to be safe, you will give us $100,000 each,” Sameh allegedly replied. Both men were charged with using a carriage service to harass or offend and were granted conditional bail despite being on tourists visas. The duo fronted Bankstown Local Court for the first time on Wednesday, when they entered pleas of not guilty. Tony Burke did not comment on whether their visas would be cancelled.
