The Predator is the nastiest enemy we've done, and today I got tele-stabbed by one. But my character had a trait @jwindr came up with where you drop a grenade on death. As the Predator carried me to the airlock, the blast knocked him clean through a window. Laughed til I wept.

@Pentadact Also, is the variable duplicating information stored elsewhere? Ex: If a player knows what item they've selected AND an item knows whether it is selected, they can disagree. player.AmISelected(this) might be better than having a 'selected' variable at all.

@Pentadact Is 'selected' the ONLY value that changes when the component is selected? ex, If you also change the color: Select() { selected = true color = Red } is better than something else executing: cmpt.selected = true cmpt.color = Red
