my iska friends told me that if they had the privilege to choose dlsu/admu/ust or prestigious universities, they would—kasi mas makakahinga sila. pero they don't have that choice. UP and state universities were built to accomodate students who can't afford those,

YEP. Because DLSU has a big scholar population as the institution supports those who cannot afford the tuition. I kid you not when I say na sobrang generous ng La Salle sa scholarships and at different kinds too—some are on 100% scholarships, some on 50%, etc. Students also know that part of what they pay for actually goes to the scholarships. And pagdating sa campus, there’s no difference. They are treated normally and Lasallians are also willing to extend a helping hand when needed. Makes me proud to be a lasallian tbh.

the ironic thing about this is that there are so manyyy UP students who are content creators who openly flaunt their wealth like there’s no end and people praise them for it regardless 😭 a day in a life of a UP student and you’re.. golfing?
