The more you give —> The more you are expected to give This pattern is learned behavior. The solution is not to sacrifice yourself trying to meet rising expectations. The solution is to set boundaries to preserve yourself.



You are your harshest critic. You are intimately aware of all your failures and shortcomings. Yet, you take your strengths and achievements for granted. Take your Inner Critic with a grain of salt.

Commitment is scary. If you fully commit to something and fail, you will feel the sting of failure. But, at least you can look yourself in the mirror and know that you had the courage to go for it. Not everyone can say that.
