The picture you see is no portrait of me, It's too real to be shown to someone I don't know, And it's driving me wild, It makes me act like a child

Think about how this was done. Jonathan Reynolds quietly suspends Turner’s whip “following his recent conduct”. No due process. No explanation. Just a vague smear, a secret punishment, then a leak. Turner only discovers he’s been politically exiled when a Telegraph reporter phones asking for comment. This is exactly the culture that produced the jury trial attack in the first place: •Policy cooked up behind closed doors. •MPs threatened if they rebel. •Whips used as an enforcement squad, not party managers. They’re dismantling checks and balances in Parliament and in the courts – at the same time.

WATCH: Starmer on ‘beating himself up’ over Mandelson is worth watching because I really think it’s a very rare & believable moment where Starmer reveals how he’s really feeling; showing some vulnerability and anger with himself over the decision he took

Starmer is being advised on what Mandelson documents to redact, release or cover up by the very same team whose work the documents are all about. You couldn't make a conflict of interest like that up.

Starmer is well aware that his team held meetings specifically to put together a strategy for dealing with a scenario where McSweeney's messages were asked for by parliament. He's aware those meetings were held before the 'theft' of the mobile. Yet he's pretending the opposite.

Should women be allowed to get off late night buses anywhere they want? The government could advise buses to let female passengers request stops anywhere so they don't have to walk as far home. 9 out of 10 women report feeling unsafe in the dark. Do you think this could work?

"A woman who was standing at a bus stop close to a building..." A woman. A WOMAN. REALLY @BBCNews? You know what 'BBC' stands for these days? Pathetic Embarrassing Lying Nonce-enabling C*nts. Yeah it's not a proper initialism but it's accurate.

Went to my friend Matt's funeral on Friday. The final walk past the coffin song was Jon Secada - Just Another Day. Inspired. What closing song would you have at your funeral?
