Thoughts on Episode 1 of the new Vanguard DivineZ Season: - Walked in not too interested in the season concept but they handled it in a way more interesting manner than I expected - Feels like one of the more interesting episodes of recent seasons, just hope they nail the landing for the rest of it - Alternate universe setting is already giving us good treats for the DZ characters, but I hope they take it further with pre-DZ characters too - Opening is not just cinema animation-wise but the song too hello is this Macross Delta my love??? Overall really enjoyed it! Hope they keep up this momentum. Recommend checking the first episode even if you weren't interested in the last couple of seasons/haven't watched since DivineZ Season 2.
