I am bringing this to attention, even if it may be perceived unfavorably. A neighbor was observed shirtless while mowing his lawn in the middle of the afternoon in a residential area where families, children, and neighbors are often present. Some might argue that the lawn is his property and it is hot outside, which I accept. No warning. No ticket. Just straight to tow truck mode in what felt like no time at all. And I’ve gotta ask—do some people just sit in parking lots waiting for the exact moment they can report someone? Because the speed this happened was honestly wild. I wasn’t parked there for long. I wasn’t wandering around the store for ages. I was gone for less time than it takes to decide what to buy in the checkout line. What made it even more frustrating is how quickly it all escalated into a full tow situation instead of any kind of warning or ticket first. Now I’m stuck dealing with fees, paperwork, and losing my whole afternoon over something that lasted just a few minutes. @Ang_3978 @doodleinwbl Wild. After 3 days we would be paid 50 a day. All parking was validated. I also didn’t loose my PTO but I’m a school teacher and classified it as Jury Duty (but I wasn’t on a long one). This also varies by state.

Jury duty is such complete BS!!! My son is on his 2nd full week. The State just rested so there is at LEAST another 2 wks! He’s used all his PTO. Parking is $14/day & pay is $20/day. During questioning he said it would cause financial hardship. They don’t care 😡

My house cleaner came today with her 16-year-old daughter to help for the first time. Unfortunately, the girl stole money from my bedroom while cleaning. Earlier, I had left over 30k in my room. When I returned from my trip last night, the money was missing. I asked her about it, and she denied seeing anything. I then mentioned I had a camera in the room and would check it. That’s when she admitted it, apologized, and brought the money out from where she had hidden it in her clothes. Her mother has been working for me for over a year without any issues, and nothing has ever gone missing until now. She has been crying and begging since it happened. I feel bad for her, but this will be the last time she works in my house.
