The exhibition at Salts is a joy & the stories behind each photo is often just as good as the image itself. I have loved Ian’s style for many years. Glad the Memories cafe had a great day 🙌

Every now & then, away from our regular Wednesday meetings we take days trips to the cinema, theatre, restaurants & even donkey 🫏 sanctuarys! Today it was @SaltsMill in the company of @IanBeesleyphoto for a curated tour of his exhibition. As you can see, we had a great time!📷

I'm usually more of a jazz hands kinda guy when it comes to theatre but saw this @LeedsPlayhouse tonight. Curious how it would work on stage. Brilliantly written, acted & designed. And a real testament to why we need to end this crisis in technical theatre training. So slick.

@TroubadourLDN Endlessly rewritten and restaged over the years — including a total relaunch in 1992 when 12 songs were removed & 5 added — the score gets yet another overhaul for this production; I’m always surprised @OfficialALW is so free to change one of his most successful shows!

Just seen the return of STARLIGHT EXPRESS, @Starlightlondon to London, 40 years after its original premiere at @ApolloVictoria (where it ran for 18 years, the third longest run of any ALW musical after PHANTOM and CATS). It’s still more spectacle than substance, but a lot of fun.

@JohnHutchinson @officialbantams It's the "Close to rejoining" line that makes it sound more of a done deal. The Parker article practically rubbished it and said it's "wide of the mark" (I think that was the phrase used). Can't help but think it was a bit of damage limitation PR though in case it doesn't happen.

My Fair Lady has been everywhere lately: Lincoln Centre tour last year, Curve production this Christmas. But seeing it live with this big, beautiful orchestra is special. It transports you back to the golden age! When pit bands are getting smaller & smaller, it's a real treat. ❤️
