@discord_support i think it's pretty messed up that you can pay nitro for 3-4 years straight and end up being flagged by AI and banned (while doomscrolling), only to be forwarded to another AI that reviews the previous one and concludes that it was right itself please help.

Our systems flag content by matching it against known harmful material. This kind of similarity matching can produce false positives, which is why a member of our Trust & Safety team always reviews flagged content before any action is taken. The intended behavior is to temporarily pause uploads during that review, not ban the account.

We know that's not a satisfying explanation if this was your account, and we should have caught this sooner. We're working on better safeguards so this can't quietly happen again, and more broadly, on making sure our safety systems don't penalize people who did nothing wrong. If something still feels off with your account, reply here.

It appears that I cannot pay Github for more Copilot credits. I told it to spend up to $200 of additional usage - it got to $60.51 and said "you've hit your additional usage limit." And there's no higher tier I can upgrade a personal account to. Fascinating revenue model, tbh.
