@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech It’s simple assign and look for work to allow them to use technology to continue to be curious... ( I actually have a visual reflection about kids being excited ) but I’m going to share that in my end of the year project !!!
@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech I would tell them that it requires dedication and that it can be overwhelming at time but as a whole it’s a great experience... even when you thought you knew everything you really didn’t 🤣! I love Apple and I still have a hard time !!
@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech Technology is evolving every day and we need to do our best to keep up with all these technological advances in order to be able to expose our students or even learn from our Digital natives !
@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech I really take notice that my students tend to get really excited when they know they have an assignment using their iPad ( I should them how to screen share and they were excited working on a passage )
Question 1. I began the year using the seesaw app and that Really helped me here every student’s voice and opinion. most recently I’ve been using ZZISH to work on specific TEKS the use of technology in my classroom really excites my students @CGarza0930#LJTECHi3
@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech A2 some determining factors that I think about when assigning the lesson is how will the student best be able to show me what they have learned. I have done a several assignments but I always think about aligning it to the state assessment but in a creative and interactive way.
@CGarza0930@LaJoyaISDEdTech I’d say they have to see the technology integration being executed to witness that many components of teaching and student learning is possible.
@LaJoyaISDEdTech A4... my dilemma continues to be the lack of enough tech equipment ( iPad, chrome books ) I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to have colleagues that lend me their tech equipment and we “make due” however when kids bring the their phones 📱they don’t work but we try! #LJTECHi3
@LaJoyaISDEdTech A3... I love seeing how excited they get ( like it’s a forbidden thing and they get excited... I had implemented several assignments for infrencing and they’d come in and ask, “can we we a seesaw assignment”? or, “do we have one”? I love the independence they have. #LJTECHi3
Answering technology questions while at a high school football 🏈 game supporting my photographer and dancer #LJTECHi3... I am an awesome multitasking mommy!
@LaJoyaISDEdTech A2... While teaching different reading elements I shared lessons I found on seesaw in order for us to incorporate the concept of our lesson into technology ( plot, text structure ( problem solution ) #seesaw#LJTECHi3
@LaJoyaISDEdTech@CGarza0930 Vanessa K. Jasso, 6th grade ELA, teaching at JD. Salinas ...#LJTECHi3 I’ve been using seesaw, epic, a little of google classroom and most recently quizzez.
