If Iran posted: "There is no guarantee the plane carrying US diplomats will land safely," Every Western government would call it an act of terrorism. Every headline would say "Iran threatens to murder diplomats."
There would be emergency UN Security Council sessions. An Israeli account posted the same threat about Iranian diplomats, no UN session. No condemnation. No headline. That asymmetry IS the story.

And funnily enough, they got a mzungu to say it because Kenyans won't believe it when it comes from one of their own. They'll say we can't blame wazungu forever.
And can I just tell the Kenyan who is hiding behind a camera asking the questions: this is more than simply an "effect of colonialism." It's the active product of colonial institutions including your wonderful school system which said Africans don't need knowledge. But I guess a mzungu has to say it for you to hear it.

This is the curse of Kenya. I know, first hand, that more than 90% of the white teachers in international schools in Kenya are NOT qualified to teach the subjects they teach, they are there for their colour to fool the rich African parents who are suffering from inferiority complex into paying millions (of Kenyan Shillings) per term for the the same education they themselves got for a pittance. I see politicians, banking tycoons, insurance tycoons etc cowering and looking embarrassingly sheepish as they get progress reports from the white teachers of their children, looking up to them as though they are in the presence of Jesus himself... then they walk arrogantly to us, the African teachers who do the actual work and introduce themselves and listen nonchalantly to whatever we have to say. They then part with their millions in fees, hundreds of thousands for a trip to London for their children and stand in small groups praising the school because it has very many white teachers. In parliament, they block capitation (budget allocation) for public schools. Neocolonialism 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
