Yet Islam teaches us to never stop striving for positive change in the world. • What nobler goal is there than working for the survival and preservation of humanity? • If war, hatred, injustice and unrest continue unchecked, civilisation itself will deteriorate — with consequences that will devastate not just this generation, but generations yet to come. • Those who promote conflict are not only harming others — they are preparing destruction for their own children and future generations. • The golden principle of Islam is clear: Desire for others what you desire for yourself. In a meeting with His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Professor Archibald Gandha from Zimbabwe, a scholar of comparative religions and AI ethics, informed His Holiness that his research into the life of Jesus concluded that he did not perish on the cross and that he migrated to the East to gather the lost sheep of Israel. This is the same thesis expounded by the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a century ago in his book Jesus in India. Mr Gandha said his writings had a profound impact on him. Mr Gandha further noted how His Holiness' humility made him feel welcome and expressed gratitude for the fruitful discussion.
