Some additional notes here to add on to a great article by @gregmparks Bentlee Sanders, DB, Nevada (Defenders) - signed with the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL and has recorded 10 tackles + 1 interception so far this season JuanCarlos Santana, WR, Tulsa (Brahmas) - signed in the ELF with Raiders Tirol after an injury to another former XFL rookie draft selection, Darion Chafin (BattleHawks) Chris Smith, RB, Louisiana (Brahmas) - recorded a 109-yard punt return touchdown in preseason action with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL, initially released due to injury but has since been brought back. Although they were not XFL rookie draft picks, this is a good opportunity to shout out my @KnightHawksIFL guys who were slated to play in the XFL pre-merger, Jerry Garner (Orlando) and Kevin Toote (Vegas) @jerrygarner48 @k_toote Here’s to more IFL players finding UFL opportunities in 2025 🍻
