During the recording of All Dogs Go to Heaven, voice actor Burt Reynolds, who voiced Charlie, had to record the emotional “Goodbyes are not forever” scene after the passing of Judith Barsi, the little girl who voiced Anne-Marie. She had tragically passed away before the movie was completed. When Reynolds recorded that farewell scene, he reportedly became emotional in the studio, knowing she was already gone. And it took him 63 takes to get the scene right.
