@gWinbags I think I’m just most frustrated at the impossibility of actually knowing. So much bad info out there that the chances of accountability for those that did it plummets to near 0.

@gWinbags I’m honestly having such a hard time with it because there are some good reporters on the ground who seem to be posting that a rocket failed but it’s such a shitshow of bad info and misinformation on all sides that my head is spinning.

@YeliandGiannis @Peter_Bukowski Also, I have to wonder if you’re just as likely to get a defensive 5 yard penalty on the punt (offside, running into the kicker) than drawing them off. If you take the delay of game, a penalty like that doesn’t matter anymore.

A sneaky big miscue from Matt LaFleur not going for it on 4th-and-2 in Raiders territory on the opening drive. They had been moving people in the run game. Jordan Love made a couple nice throws on short concepts. The "see if you can get them to jump, then punt" idea was bad.

@StephenGutowski Is an automatic extra point that much more exciting? Like at that point just make a TD worth 7. I like something that makes it a little more challenging both for the kickers and for the coaches. League already does plenty to reward offenses.

@kabsters Honestly, I don't see how it made the game any more exciting. I don't think it ended up changing much of anything. Effectively eliminating kickoffs and on-sides kicks has had a much bigger impact but at least those were for player safety reasons.

The people who want to ban the Brotherly Shove remind me of the people who got the extra point kicks moved back a few yards. They were right, though. Football is so much more exciting now that it's 9.3% more likely a guy is going to miss an extra point!
