@CrimsonEsquire @PlayStormgate The game is only free2play in multiplayer. The reason to do so is the stats that 90%+ of the SC2 playerbase never played a single multiplayer battle. The devs can't afford it to make 90% of players just complete the entire campaign for free and go. It's kinda obvious.

@PlayStormgate Why is the campaign, the thing that functions to teach new players how to play your game, the thing you have locked behind a paywall in your supposedly free to play game?

If you wonder what pro players dream. I came to big offline tournament, only to find out the games are played on a different version with two extra races. I got matched vs some player I always beat on ladder, but he picked a race I was unfamiliar with and I lost. I was so sad.

@SKillous It's probably not the worst, though. As an ex-high level sailor, I usually dream about my old coach taking me to the regatta nowadays. But then everything goes wrong with equipment, clothes, etc, and so I never can make it to the actual race in time.

The message that optimizing everything in your life will magically make your work better and easier is false. In my experience its the opposite, you first find something you enjoy doing, and then thats motivation to maybe optimize stuff to make that one thing you like better

I've always hated how, in "morning routine" or "productive day" type of videos, they'll talk on and on about their pre shower meditation and morning run but just quickly say "and from 1pm to 4pm i do work". What do you do ?! How do you do it well ?! Thats the part i care about !

@feardragon64 It's a bit annoying how people say that Twitch doesn't do anything but adding rainbow smiles, while actually Twitch adds tons of stuff. Not every streamer necessarily needs or uses each the new feature, but they really introduce quite a bit.

This is wild if it's happening. 35% is a ridiculous amount of the company being laid off. Obviously terrible for the people laid off but I guess time will tell if this finally puts Twitch on the road to better sustainability.
