Days of sharing and brotherhood for the Islamic world… 🌙 During our visit to the orphan village in Azez, we delivered our aid and Eid gifts to mothers and orphaned children. The smiles on the children’s faces became our greatest source of motivation. 😊 📍Syria

We believe that a civil society guided by justice, compassion and responsibility will play a key role in building a more just and humane world. We hope this #Ramadan gathering will strengthen global dialogue, solidarity and collective action among Muslim communities.

It was also noted that Muslim civil society should move from following global norms to generating new ideas and policies rooted in its own ethical and intellectual heritage.

We also discussed potential areas of cooperation in family policies and international advocacy during the meeting. We will continue our dialogue to further expand good practices that support women’s empowerment through international collaborations. #KADEM #WomenForJustice

We had a comprehensive exchange of ideas on KADEM’s Women Support Centers model and field experience, as well as FWI’s policy advocacy at the United Nations, diplomatic capacity-building efforts and international coalition networks.

During the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (#CSW70), our delegation in New York came together with representatives of Family Watch International and the Sterling Foundation.

With the participation of the Minister of Family and Social Services, our Board Member Dr. Zeynep Temizer Atalar also conducted a psychodrama workshop on self-compassion for women.
