Ces appareils russes, capables de larguer plus de 5 000 litres d’eau avec une grande précision et maniabilité, figuraient parmi les plus efficaces de son dispositif aérien. Les sanctions de l’Union européenne empêchent l’approvisionnement en pièces de rechange et l’intervention des techniciens russes nécessaires à leur maintenance. Résultat : la flotte reste immobilisée. Le groupe parlementaire Sumar a demandé une dérogation pour ces engins de sécurité civile. Le gouvernement a répondu que la décision relevait de Bruxelles, sans obtenir d’exception. Cet été 2026, alors que les incendies ont déjà fait au moins 13 morts et brûlé plus de 131 000 hectares en Espagne, l’absence de ces matériels fait scandale et est perçue comme une conséquence directe du fanatisme anti-russe de l'UE.

Since the beginning of July, we have recorded active Russian satellite surveillance of the Gulf states and U.S. military facilities located there. These images subsequently appear in Iran. At the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russia’s satellite imagery of these sites and Iranian strikes – both before the attacks, in preparation for them, and afterward, to assess the damage inflicted.
On July 19 and 20 alone, four air bases fell within the area of interest of Russian satellites – two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait. The purpose is clear. China responds to EU sanctions with export restrictions
The European Union officially announced its 21st sanctions package against Russia on July 23, adding 14 companies from China and Hong Kong to its sanctions list.
In response, China decided to place 14 EU organizations under export control measures, citing the protection of national security and interests, compliance with international non-proliferation obligations, and a response to what it called unfriendly actions by the EU.
Under China’s Export Control Law and regulations on dual-use items, Chinese exporters are prohibited from supplying dual-use goods to the listed organizations. Foreign entities and individuals are also banned from transferring or providing these China-origin dual-use items to the targeted organizations.
Any ongoing related transactions must be stopped immediately. In exceptional cases where exports are necessary, companies must apply for special approval from China’s Ministry of Commerce.
The organizations affected include companies and institutions from Italy, Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Latvia.

During the strikes, Russia has also destroyed Latvia’s Honorary Consulate.
Once again proving its complete disregard for diplomacy.
Europe stands in full solidarity with Latvia and Ukraine.
Russia is losing the war it started, and is increasingly targeting civilians in a desperate attempt to crush Ukraine’s spirit.
But Ukraine’s spirit is unbreakable.

14 major EU arms manufacturing companies have been blacklisted from purchasing drone parts and rare earth elements (needed to arm themselves against Russia).
The EU leaders seem to be the masters at shooting themselves in the foot. Europe is the biggest loser after Ukraine in this conflict.

We have agreed on the 21st sanctions package against Russia.
It delivers sweeping measures targeting Moscow’s financial system, its military-industrial complex and energy sector, that keep Russia's war economy running.
We are hitting Putin where it hurts most: cutting off the financial lifelines he relies on to sustain his war.
This is not the end of the road on sanctions. We are already working on the next steps. The EU must be ready to respond to any further Russian escalation.
