Did you read the Little House on the Prairie Books as a child and if so, old are you now? I'm teaching a class and none of the students have heard of these titles much less read them. I'm trying to see when these books fell out of favor...

While I think there's some truth to it, I'd be curious to compare the quality of the two marriage styles. I saw unhappily married couples who viewed divorce as failure (when it could've improved their lives).
