ok two things that some ppl are misinterpreting: -the long table was just lestat w his fledglings and his maker not just ppl he wronged -paul being in the crowd at the end wasn’t bc he was killed by lestat, he said the audience was ppl he killed or “harmed” and he clearly did

@lily_on_tw i know what you mean i feel this too, im going back and forth on how intentional it is but it definitely comes across as very racist regardless which is so depressing, i do still have hope s4 can improve and bring the show back to its roots

@kajemacc Bro I kinda want to choose to believe that it's not some racist stuff going on. First season was such a gem and told a complex story and I want to base my perception on what we saw and know to be true till now, not believe stuff because I have a feeling

I didn't read this as some racist agenda. They always (made) intended for Louis to be likeable . He is the one that you follow from the start and it's not about them thinking we're all stupidly blind to his faults, but to make something of them, especially for character dynamics

when i think abt what i loved this season it will always be this episode i think of and i wish the rest of the season was as good and impactful as ep 3 was for me

i rlly do feel there was such compassion in how that episode portrayed victims without censoring the truth of the experience and i rlly loved that so much. anusree roy and claudia llosa rlly deserve their flowers for this episode ( + ja, sr and damien)

on a positive note + now the season’s over, i adored ep3 and it was by far my fave this season, as a victim claudia’s diary pages meant so, so much to me to hear and it was some of the best, most accurate words to describe how i’ve felt abt life after that kind of abuse
