'Atiyyah - may Allaah have mercy upon them both - that he said:  "The companions of Muhammad (ﷺ) and those who followed them upon goodness (at-Taabi'oon) were upon five matters; • adhering strictly to the Jamaa'ah, • following the Sunnah, • the building of Masaajid, • recital of the Qur'aan • and Jihaad (striving) in Allaah's Path."
