Today I’ve been sharing my news. This summer I retire from the uni. I’m 55 and I am choosing a decade of difference. Sadly I won’t be alone. The government has overseen a budgetary crisis in higher education. I’m lucky to be able to go voluntarily and with a new path opening up.

Parent organised opened ended video catch-up between nine year olds where we got to hear about the lockdown highs & lows & enjoy a musical performance. Fostering creativity and connection, where school has fallen short to acknowledge the need for belonging. #homeschooling2021

A windy walk & playtime with my boy; my only child who feels rather lonely this lockdown. He misses #school and peers 😭; his heart is heavy, I can tell ... so is mine for him. There is only that much I can offer him when it comes to the creative #play, but I try nonetheless 🌿.
