Sri TV Varadarajan’s "Sangeetha Mummoorthigal" @kalyananagar TMS Road #Mandavelipakkam yesterday was a truly magnificent experience. KNA consistently presents world-class dramas that promote our rich culture, heritage, and history, and this production was no exception. As TV #Varadarajan himself remarked, the quality of the performance was matched only by the discerning nature of the audience. This thoughtfully prepared and meticulously rehearsed drama transported us back over 200 years. It offered an experience far beyond a standard sabha musical performance or kutchery. It beautifully illustrated that concepts like #Samathuvam (equality) and musical amalgamation, and humor that would have existed are not new; they were deeply rooted in our history through the #Guru-#Shishya tradition, the adaptation of Western styles (like the introduction of the violin and #nottuswaram), and the camaraderie among the Great #Trinity. KNA should be immensely proud of hosting such a culturally significant performance.
