It hurts me but in a way I find myself agreeing with this comment. I love that both denji and asa now have a chance to be happy, but I wanted it to be the denji and asa I followed through out the story.

I love when Fujimoto says something will happen, but later when it actually does happen it’s still shocking and horrible. It’s why focus on “plot twists” is silly. You can bluntly tell the audience “this character will die”, and still kill them in an emotional, impactful way
