Looks like the Reform candidate who only registered his company as a plumber in February has a long history of far-right activism with BNP and Britain First and the New British Legion, successor to Moseley's BUF.
Reform Watch@theReformwatch

Robert Kenyon is friends with Gary Raikes on Facebook. Raikes, a former BNP and Britain First member, leads the New British Union – the modern successor to Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists. This is who represents Reform in Makerfield.

PANDEMONIUM broke out in Tower Hamlets as Pakistani and Bangla factions of the Awami League clashed at a town hall meeting. This aired live on BANGLADESHI TV and one of their new MPs was in attendance. This is democracy in modern London.

@Iromg I wonder what happened to those civil servants who did the initial calculations on the costs? Probably very nicely retired on 100% non-contributory pension by now.

The youth unemployment rate has hit 16.2%, the highest level since 2015. It's no great surprise to anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of economics that if you price young people out of the market by hiking the taxes on them and forcing up the minimum wage, then youth unemployment will inevitably result. It's just rather sad that Rachel Reeves doesn't appear to have a rudimentary understanding of economics.

Unemployment has risen to 5%. Nearly 2 million people. As the TUC used to say, it’s 2 million reasons to remove the Government. But they don’t say that now.

Rachel Reeves has tried to tax her way to growth and it’s done the opposite. My concern is that if Andy Burnham gets in he will try to dig deeper into the hole by raising taxes even more.

Difficult to overstate what a disgustingly deranged and bigoted individual Cleese has become, tweeting this bile and these lies the day after an attack on a mosque. Not sure I can ever watch Monty Python again in the same way.
John Cleese@JohnCleese

Nice to see Starmer's concern for so many of his voters One way to reduce Muslim worries about safety would be for them to stop laying emphasis on taking over other people's countries, with all the killing of infidels that this would apparently entail This looks like aggression to non-Muslim people of an anxious disposition Goodness knows why

@Normanjam67 Maybe if governments hadn’t frightened all the billionaires away to Monaco, they might be paying money into the system to help those kids. You can only squeeze someone by the bollocks so much before they start to object.

Since Neoliberalism became our economic model in 1979. Child poverty has increased from 20% to 31%. But don't worry, we've got hundreds of new billionaires. 🙃

@markstretch If they didn’t tax the parents so much, both at source and through other means, they would feed their own kids and look after them the way they wish to. Too much interference into peoples lives. Starmer said ‘I’m going to tread lightly over your lives’ … Bullshit.

This is a lie. The IMF downgraded Britain's growth from 1.3% to 0.8% and recently readjusted it to 1%. 1% annual growth is not 'strong' by anyone's meterics. Peder Kyle.
Peter Kyle@peterkyle

None of this happened by accident. Strong growth figures show that this government has the right economic plan. And now, the IMF has upgraded the UK’s growth forecast. This growth is driven by an activist, interventionist government that believes in backing British business.
