I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.

Twitch streamer Xenosys was just banned from Final Fantasy FFXIV.
Square-Enix said he violated their policy for "aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams."

My take abt Xenos getting banned on FFXIV is that GMs and moderation have been abysmal for years.
They used to just not tell you what/where/who/why they abducted you out of the game for, which is already unacceptable.
But moderation outside the game? ✋😤

@ArkieKun Honestly, I want them to do more moderation. Perhaps this means they'll pay attention and ban those cheaters in a more timely fashion. And, you know, maybe they'll investigate the 1-member FC houses people keep reporting as gil-sellers gil-farms.
