@schock Thank you for this! Did a quick search while in line, same route as you. when I requested to opt out at Logan the agent said "no you are flying international" and when returning the CBP agent said "no" but after the photo had been taken, "not if you want this to go quickly" ????

Update: returning to the USA via Boston Logan, in the immigration line for US Passport holders, they are scanning everyone's face using a mounted camera connected to immigration agents' computers. You can opt out, we did. They requested a second form of ID, MA license worked.
