@hartgoat So, they didn't have a confirmed warrant on this guy so wouldn't that make it self-defence against unlawful arrest? I'm not from America so I'm just asking questions
You can go to the gym, eat healthy, drink your water, and take your vitamins but if you don't deal with the bullsh*t going on in your heart and head, you're still going to be unhealthy.

💥BREAKING💥
Yesterday we began to pursue with pace a legal case against Lane Nichols and NZ Herald.
Step 1: We obtained legal advice from our fierce lawyer Ron Mansfield
Step 2: We preserved the evidence of Lane Nichols & NZ Herald’s actions
Step 3: We sent a letter to the NZ Herald demanding an apology and retraction
We are prepared to go all the way with this legal case.
No longer can the NZ Herald get away with their trashy tabloid lies.
▪️NZ Herald print lies, not just about me, but about many other Kiwis over the years.
▪️NZ Herald has become a propaganda machine for Te Pāti Māori.
▪️NZ Herald is woke, liberal and out of touch with everyday New Zealanders.
It prioritises divisive narratives over balanced reporting, pushing agendas that undermine traditional Kiwi values. Instead of holding power to account, it has become a mouthpiece for identity politics and a champion of cancel culture. The NZ Herald has lost its way, betraying the trust of readers who once relied on it for fair and accurate journalism. It's time we demand accountability and call out the bias that erodes true media integrity.
Thank you to all the supporters who have been offering to fund the legal fight. Please go here to donate: briantamaki.com/legalfundfight
At this point, I put all Legacy Media on notice who act in this manner. We're coming for you!

@1NewsNZ We don't have the infrastructure to handle so many people in Auckland. Yet we're letting how many immigrants in, they're staying in Auckland primarily, and there's no significant upgrades happening to help the infrastructure of Auckland catch up. Make it make sense
People are being urged not to swim at some inner city Auckland beaches amid water quality issues caused by wastewater overflow and faecal bacteria.

@SeanPlunket I think that this law change has been effective. However, I think infringement on freedom of expression is a slippery slope, and because of this, it could be expanded in the future in unforseen ways by whoever is in charge at the time
@NewstalkZB I'm vegetarian so I used to buy fake meat occasionally to bump up my protein intake. When I realised fake meat is an ultra-processed food, I stopped buying it. Plus, its more expensive than real meat too and less healthy so why would non-vege people buy it?
@dbseymour Don't push them to agree to a McDonald's. Get rid of silly regulations instead, and they will be able to start businesses that suit the community

@Filhab3@chrisluxonmp Thats mostly related to the cost of power which will take a bit of time to get under control. The last government transitioned too quickly to renewables and didn't account for the massive increase it would add to the cost of groceries, petrol and power bills
A year ago today, I was sworn in as Prime Minister to rebuild the economy, restore law and order and deliver better health and education.
We are making good progress.
Things are still tough for a lot of families but we are seeing positive green shoots in the economy.
Inflation is down to 2.2%, wages are growing faster than inflation and we have delivered hardworking Kiwis tax relief.
We are also getting crime under control so New Zealanders feel safe in their communities. There are more police on the beat, we’ve banned gang patches and ram raids are down 60%.
We have invested $604m in Pharmac to deliver up to 26 new cancer treatments and invested $16.7b into the health system.
We are ensuring your children are getting the best possible education by introducing an hour of reading, writing and maths a day and banning cell phones in schools.
There’s still so much more to do, but one year in National's plan to get New Zealand back on track is working.
@chrisluxonmp As useful as it may be, it sets a dangerous precedent. I hope it doesn't lead to ideological encroachment on freedom of expression in the future by whoever is in charge at the time
