The link from the Kanjialive web app app.kanjialive.com to the Kenkyusha Luminous Dictionary has had to be removed due to illegal scraping of the site's data. We are working on a solution and apologise for the inconvenience.

We’ve discovered some errors in the Kanji alive data referencing the Classic Nelson Japanese/English dictionary – a small number of kanji were linked to the wrong Classic Nelson reference numbers. 1/2

We’ve noticed that when using the Kanji alive app in Safari on OSX, the links to the Kenkyusha Luminous dictionary don’t work anymore. We’re working on a fix. As a temporary solution, please use another browser like Chrome or Firefox instead.

We just corrected the stroke order animation for 状. But our temporary fix has thrown off the timing for ‘scrubbing’ strokes 1+2 in the stroke order diagram. We’ll fix that too asap. Thanks to github.com/gdsjlign for alerting us.

@darsparx Even if it worked it wouldn’t give you want you wanted. Our assumed use case for multi-term was basically faceting (AND). What you’re looking for is OR or else AND NOT. Sorry!

@kanjialive and yeah technically. It'd be nice to be able to see all the kanji up to a certain point(like say we're on Lesson 14 of genki, so see all the kanji up to that point)

@kanjialive out of curiousity, is there not a way to show multiple chapters of kanji? (and maybe have the KKLC in some manner on here too?)

@darsparx But there is a bug such that multi-term searches using the same key return unexpected results.. e.g. ks:1 ks:2 This should return a number that satisfies both criteria (i.e. zero) but it doesn’t work.

@darsparx Certainly – a list like this is a good start, but the previous requirements would still apply.
