Building with AI. Learning like it’s a life mod. Debugs life in Python and operates on tab overload. A programmer in denial, running on coffee and curiosity.

@TheCoderShow @AnthropicAI Timing feels a bit off - lots of folks will be on summer vacations. Might be worth reconsidering the window for better engagement.

Dear Kannan, We do take 8 walk-ins at 4.30 pm for the bar serving full menu based on first come-first serve. And the next 8 are placed on waitlist in the lounge. (21+ only) I come out to pray at 4.40 pm everyday. And I do the first seating myself. Hope to see you and happy birthday in advance.

Brands on @Shopify are now shoppable inside @ChatGPTapp. AI shopping isn’t coming. It’s here. As always, our merchants are best positioned. Let's go.

@vinodchendhil @maahirpanchal Tally was historically built with a strong B2B + ledger mindset, and high-volume B2C (like from Shopify) exposes its limitations pretty quickly.

Veterans please pitch in, Should I consider a shift to Zoho for my main business in steel from Tally? I’ve used Zoho for Titan Additive and that’s been good so far. However Tally is the standard for MSMEs rn

Great news to start off the new financial year. @Razorpay is now embedded natively inside @OpenAI’s Codex, an industry-first for any Indian payments company. A developer prompts "build me a fitness app with a ₹499 one-time payment." Codex builds it. Razorpay handles the payments. No separate integration, no dashboard-hopping. If AI makes creation effortless, monetisation should be just as simple. India has 6 million developers & weekly Indian users of Codex 4x'd in two weeks this February. We’re building for this shift where more people can create, launch, and earn without friction. We have always enabled businesses so that their payments are smoother, easier, simpler & faster and Codex just got added to that already illustrious list.

Issuer banks don’t settle funds on bank holidays so PAs cannot do downstream merchant settlements. Knowing the issue this causes, we started offering instant settlement using our own funds few years back, but the regulations on fund flow have changed which has restricted our ability to deploy our own funds to do this like earlier. I understand the frustration this causes and we are trying to increase capacity within the regulations but just sharing context. Happy to share exact details on DM.

They have also done something absurd by reducing instant settlement on bank holidays for trusted old merchants to 60% instead of the full amount. You pay an extra commission and can still only pull out part of your money. Ain't the company it used to be. @harshilmathur
Shreyas Mody@ShreyasMody

This has to be the most audacious thing to say in 2026 for a "Digital" company! @Razorpay pls change this. There is absolutely no reason to block money unnecessarily!

Big update on quantmod 🚀 ~26k downloads in, and this update is really about refining what actually matters in practice - making things simpler, more consistent, and more useful. 📌 A few things I’m excited about: - A more unified options pricing framework (cleaner, more flexible) - Support for multiple real-world models, not just one approach - Faster and more reliable Monte Carlo simulations - Better handling of complex instruments like barrier and American options - Cleaner outputs with everything you actually need (price, risk, confidence) Also made a bunch of small but important improvements: - Simpler function interfaces - More intuitive parameter names - Better overall structure 📍 Docs are now live at: docs.kannansingaravelu.com Still early and evolving, but this feels like a strong step forward. If you’ve worked with quant tools, would love your thoughts 🙌 #QuantitativeFinance #Python #DataScience #Quantmod

Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd. Same for any other large project that depended on litellm. Afaict the poisoned version was up for only less than ~1 hour. The attack had a bug which led to its discovery - Callum McMahon was using an MCP plugin inside Cursor that pulled in litellm as a transitive dependency. When litellm 1.82.8 installed, their machine ran out of RAM and crashed. So if the attacker didn't vibe code this attack it could have been undetected for many days or weeks. Supply chain attacks like this are basically the scariest thing imaginable in modern software. Every time you install any depedency you could be pulling in a poisoned package anywhere deep inside its entire depedency tree. This is especially risky with large projects that might have lots and lots of dependencies. The credentials that do get stolen in each attack can then be used to take over more accounts and compromise more packages. Classical software engineering would have you believe that dependencies are good (we're building pyramids from bricks), but imo this has to be re-evaluated, and it's why I've been so growingly averse to them, preferring to use LLMs to "yoink" functionality when it's simple enough and possible.
Daniel Hnyk@hnykda

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

Despite the Gap Down and the massively Negative Breadth, the day's volume in NIFTY Future didn't even cross the 10 Million mark. In most historical instances, the Bottoms have been made with either substantially higher volume day of >15M or with a cluster of Higher than 10M volume days [case: Mar'23]. In all cases, relatively higher readings of India VIX were also witnessed. * for context purpose only
