Back in June, I help my mom clean out her pool shed. There's a strand of old twinkle lights with plastic flamingos. "Throw them out," she says. "They don't work." But I see that the flamingos came off easily, so I start to pull them off. "I can do something with these."

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital are devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is." And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

…but why

I said goodbye to a patient a few years ago. She didn’t die, she just got old. I treat patients to age 21 and they move on. When they do, I joke, “well, I did my job! I kept you alive until adulthood!” With this kid, it was not a joke. 1/

Well I did it and my head feels SO nice! It was SO itchy before Husbandman shaved it for me! Also, as soon as he finished mine, he shaved a strip down the middle of his head, gave me his goofy fake “uh oh” face, and said “-gasp- what happened?!?!” 🥰I love that man!🥰
