The SAn govt only enriches politically-connected: tenderpreneurs, businesses that need funding & govt employees who earn well. If you're not in this bracket, focus on building yourself & working with ppl who believe in you. Focus on your clients & investors. And be ready for the day you become very successful, when the govt will want to claim you, pretend they helped you, want to extract tax from you, & want to exploit you for their own gain. The local podcasting industry was not built by the SAn govt, nor funded by the SAn govt, nor given infrastructure/equipment by the SAn govt. Today, they want to regulate it for their own benefit & they handpick the voices they want to use to drive their agenda.

Here’s where I step in. I’m not one of these I hate capitalist or rich people type guys because I’m a hustler too. Make your money & I will too however, your company Roc nation literally couldn’t survive without unpaid interns who did the exact same work as paid employees. Many of the unpaid interns were from urban communities and it was tough on them to work for free and yet they got nothing but the ability to put Roc Nation on their resume, many didn’t even get full time jobs at Roc Nation or the music industry after their internships because we all know nepotism and being connected matters more than anything in the music industry. The music industry as a whole takes advantage of people & people within the music industry use their talent, clout and the fact that everyone else wants to work in entertainment to not pay people their worth.
