Labour will reform the NHS: Self referrals for patients. Double the number of graduating doctors and district nurses. Increase training places for nurses and midwives. Free up GPs to focus on patients. With Labour, patients will get the service they need.

@bernarddeacon I agree. Nothing more than urban car sprawl. Large developments fail to produce communities. See Nansledan website and count membership of any ‘community ‘ association.... laughable.

Cornwall Council's propaganda campaign for its Langarth utopia becomes daily more bizarre and ludicrous. Taking an 'artist's impression' of an Anytown shopping plaza and sticking a token Celtic cross in it hardly makes a placeless suburb into a 'green village'.

#thicktrunktuesday I found this oak at Nidd Gorge near Knaresborough recently and added it to the @WoodlandTrust Ancient Tree Inventory. It's 420cm in girth. Having recently qualified as an ancient tree verifier I was able to give it the status of veteran. #standupfortrees

@Britvic so Britvic pledges to sell only recycled plastic bottles by 2022. BIG SIGH. Recycled plastic escapes and leaches into the environment just like virgin plastic. Let’s not support Britvic’s greenwash.

@karenlaborde Our packaging is recyclable but is not classed as compostable Karen. Any inks we use on the envelopes are food grade inks.
