I filed, authored and passed that bill – SB 827 – which ultimately capped out-of-pocket monthly costs for insurance-covered insulin at $25.   In the Texas House, Rep. Eddie Lucio III was my House sponsor. It passed out of the House Insurance Committee with Chair @TomOliverson’s help.   Texans deserve the facts on who really delivered healthcare savings on insulin. It was based on President Trump’s initiative from July, 2020 and was ultimately a Republican-led policy change. It’s campaign season. The facts are the facts. Let’s stick with them! #txlege #TXSen

Police have arrested her son, Trevor Norman, on a murder charge. Police say Mrs. Harris succumbed to multiple stab wounds. The family has shared that Trevor has a history of mental illness. I can’t image what they’re going through. This is a heavy loss for so many. Pray for them. Pray for the first responders who tried to save her. Pray our nation can find more mental health resources for our communities.
