New paper from my PhD with @luketkelly , Matt Swan, and @trentpenman ! sciencedirect.com/science/articl… We harnessed the incredible diversity of plants and their traits, to see if we could predict how plant populations change according to time since fire (from 0 to 81 years).

Our new paper is out now in Oryx. We describe the distribution and potential habitat of the Himalyan Wolf in Bhutan. The wolf is a lesser known canid from Bhutan, but we can do better. We are already discussing collaborations🤞

I've already tweeted this paper but super interesting one about impact of fire on hollow occurrence in eucalypt forests. Particularly interesting that fire appears to create hollows in smaller trees - something I've often wondered about!
