January's monthly @Jackal_Protocol storage subscriptions have been issued! If you missed out, you can join us before February 1 by staking 100 or more #jkl tokens to our validator for 50GB free monthly storage. This month was a whopping 525% increase in participation!
English

@DPodocasts @JanusCryptus The vault is not involved, that is a Jackal Labs product. @LogicSquirrel will be taking a snapshot of stakers to their validator on Jan 1 and paying for a month of storage on their behalf. After that point, any of those stakers can use vault as if they had paid for it themselves.
English

@JanusCryptus @karnthis might correct me here, but they will be taking a snapshot on the 1st of the month and proceeding months and settling the accounts at that time? That's the way I understand it. This is uncharted land, so, dunno but I believe that is correct.
English

@LitMormon @OSINTDunny @Jackal_Protocol It was .rns when it was a proof of concept smart contract on Juno, but when the chain launched officially it was .jkl
English

@karnthis @OSINTDunny @Jackal_Protocol it's my twitter handle: litmormon.jkl
I could've sworn it was .rns back in the day. Am I wrong?
English

@OSINTDunny @Jackal_Protocol Thank you, sir. I knew I had one from like day 1, but I’d forgotten what it was.

Same old and rehash is not going to get it done anymore. Chains need a purpose. $AKT and $JKL are chains that do something, and it's something in demand. Keep playing the crypto lottery, or dabble in actual business. One is a fad, one is the future.

Founder of $AKASH is now using @Jackal_Protocol.
Jackal storage is private. FASTER AND CHEAPER than other web3 storage providers. Runs on it's own L1 that launches storage "outposts" on other chains with @base coming soon. Mobile app in working beta. Under 50m MC.
Gud tech. Going to be redundant until more people understand the potential.
Greg Osuri 🇺🇸@gregosuri
I purchased $JKL to use @Jackal_Protocol vault. Jackal might be a good place to permanently store the memory and knowledge for my AI Agents running on Akash. Akash and Jackal use the same keys for non-custodial access, and IBC works brilliantly. $ATOM ecosystem is about to get an upgrade with DePIN powering Agents. Pushing demo soon.

Just a reminder: CosmWasm is the heartbeat of Cosmos! With 100+ chains (over 90% of the ecosystem) using it and 1.77M+ downloads of the standard library, it’s clear: #CosmWasm is THE go-to for smart contracts.
When everyone’s using it, you know it’s gotta be next-level.🔥🚀

If you want to verifiably store the state of the chain and/or specific nodes, Jackal is probably the way to go. If you just want to verifiably store a proof of continuity and rely on an indexer-type affair for the actual state, something like Celestia is your best option. Jackal isn't traditional DA, it is data storage.
English

@NguynMi77016248 @Jackal_Protocol @CelestiaOrg We can develop a home grown solution on @Jackal_Protocol possibly, great that its IBC.
No one could give me a straight answer on what @CelestiaOrg is.

26,037 Blockchain Devs. Only 510 Can Store Data. Here's Why That Changes Today
The current model for blockchain storage is broken. Here's why.
The Distribution Problem Nobody Talks About
Traditional blockchain storage networks are playing a losing game. They're trying to convince developers to:
- Leave their existing general purpose chains
- Learn new economics
- Rebuild their tech stack
- Abandon their communities
- Start from scratch
No wonder only 510 developers have access to scalable storage. The problem isn't the technology - it's that storage chains are making developers choose between having great storage or staying on their preferred blockchain.
Why Current Solutions Fall Short
Monolithic storage chains are like exclusive clubs in the middle of nowhere:
- Expect everyone to come to them
- Force developers to choose between storage or everything else their current chain offers
- Create isolated islands of functionality
- Compete instead of collaborate
It's a zero-sum game where everyone loses.
Jackal's Distribution Breakthrough: Outposts
Instead of making developers come to us, we're bringing storage to them. Here's how:
1. Smart Contract Deployment
- One contract deployment
- Any CosmWasm or EVM chain
- Instant storage functionality for everyone
2. Native Integration
- No new tokens needed
- No new chain to learn
- Works with existing tools
The Network Effect
Each Outpost deployment creates a compounding effect:
- More chains = more developers
- More developers = more data heavy applications
- More applications = more chains wanting Outposts
It's already happening. With the first deployment on @archwayHQ and going to EVM next.
Follow us @jackal_protocol and watch Jackal end the era of isolated storage chains.
