The older I get, the more I realize, I don’t want a busy life. I want a deep life. Slow mornings. Focused work. Calm people. Meaningful progress. Good books. A quiet mind at night. Nothing flashy. Nothing trendy. Just a life that feels good to live. Depth over noise. That'll do.

Stop treating happiness like something you have to earn. Happiness is a choice. You don't need to hit a goal. Clear your to-do list. Or "deserve" it first. Go for a walk. Watch the sunset. Laugh at something stupid. Read the book you've been planning to forever. Listen to your favourite childhood band. Cook something you relish. Stare at a wall for 2 hours in silence. Happiness is free. It's available right now. And it's hidden in the little things.

I think it’s extremely important, especially in the morning, to be quiet. Before the world starts talking to you, talk to yourself. Before notifications, opinions, and expectations rush in, connect with yourself. If you fill your mornings with noise, your mind stays scattered all day. But when you spend some time alone, something shifts. You hear your own thoughts more clearly. You react less. You're less anxious. Less rushed. Just a few minutes of silence. That's all. No phone, no people, no distractions. Just drink your coffee and breathe. And trust me, it can change the way your entire day feels.

You are absolutely capable of creating the life you keep dreaming of. What stops most people is hesitation. Self-doubt. Waiting until they feel “ready.” You don’t need that. You need consistent action. Small steps. Little effort. The willingness to start ugly. The life you imagine is built slowly by the choices you make every day. Just go for it. Do it. Courage, that's all you need, a little courage.

Be delusionally optimistic about your potential. The world will try to hand you smaller versions of yourself. Opinions. Labels. Doubts disguised as “logic.” Don't let it enter your consciousness. Don't let anyone change what you believe about yourself to be true. Because before anything becomes real in your life, it has to be real in your mind.

No one else should get to define you. Not your friends. Not your parents. Not society. If you don’t take the time to understand yourself, you’ll slowly start living someone else’s version of you. You’ll measure your worth by their approval. And one day, you’ll wake up feeling like a stranger in your own life. That’s why the inner work matters. Sit with yourself. Listen to your own thoughts. Pay attention to what feels true. Understand who you truly are inside out. Know yourself deeply enough that other people’s definitions don’t stick.

@karunpal Just did that yesterday with my son. Just mtb in the middle of the woods, this time with some snow which made the ride sooooo fun and meditative. That sound of the ice under the tires, the snow falling from the trees, the creeks full of fresh water….magical!

A quiet walk in nature resets something inside me. No rush. No noise. A calm washes over me. The silence under the trees. Birds singing. The sound of dry leaves under my feet. Wind brushing through the branches. Sometimes, I sit under a tree in silence. Just listening myself breathe. No people. No phones. No chaos. No overthinking about anything. Just silence. For some people it may just be an ordinary moment. But to me, it feels like nourishment. A reminder of what my soul actually needs.

I love spending weekends alone. No plans. No people. No performance. No pressure to be “on.” Just me, in my own little cozy world. Quiet coffee in the morning. Watching the sunrise. Longs walks. Reading Tolstoy. Meditating. A little music. A little staring at the walls. Cooking something slow. Watching films. Sitting in silence, thinking about life and all. To some people, that sounds boring. To me, it feels like peace. And honestly, I never regret a weekend that brings me back to myself.

@karunpal Change coffee to tea and Tolstoy to Dostoevsky (usually) and you've got my daily life.

Everything that happens in our lives is not only created by our actions, but also by the nature of our thoughts. If you constantly express dissatisfaction, you'll find more and more reasons to be dissatisfied. If your attitude is negative about the world, the world will show you it's worst nature. That's why having a positive attitude is the most natural way to change your life. People get what they choose. Like it or not, that's how life works.

@karunpal Indeed. Our real passions come from deep within us. It's a voice to do something specific and that voice never gets old. It's repetitive and it won't stop until you start doing your "thing". It persists until you let go of your fears and start executing.

In your life there will be times when you really feel excited about something. For days, you'll be like "this is it!". But then slowly the excitement fades away. If you've felt like that, then remember this... that excitement was conditioned. You got influenced by someone. Maybe by someone you look up to. Someone who's already sucessful. It wasn't real. If it was, it won't fade away. Real passion is something that comes from the inside. It doesn't excite you that much. It's subtle. It feels like something you've known how to do for the longest time, but you're not sure if it would work. Trust me, that's your thing.

You know how you know it's your thing comin from within? It's not just a sudden, episodic burst, but a quiet, steady, calm, knowing "I must keep going" feeling. Like with writing. You're not always outwardly enthusiastic, but if you feel the truth of it in your bones, you just keep going and it builds, in your heart and in the outside world.

I never get bored. Like ever. I love being alone. It's a luxury. When some plan gets cancelled, I get more excited. I'm like "more me time, yayyy". I love just chilling around the house. Doing random shit. Browsing old photos. Feeling ten different emotions in 4 seconds. Cringing about something I said 3 years ago. Reading thick books. Listening to low-key artists no one knows about. Singing out loud in the shower. Pacing around my study doing 2 hours of self-talk. Eat. Nap. But bored... never.
