@kasamiworks Word of mouth is the hardest thing to measure but often the most durable. The signal eventually shows up in retention curves and unprompted brand mentions — just on a delay. Building without obsessing over the dashboard has its own kind of integrity.

@ilan_hertz Hadn't thought about the warm referral angle. If someone recommends it to another person, I'll never know. No analytics. No tracking. That's the tradeoff. Maybe word of mouth is happening already. Maybe not. Kind of strange to build something that way.

@kasamiworks Keep going. That one paying user will start telling a name-recall story to someone, and the next install lands warm instead of cold. 179 cold → 1 paid is a workable funnel; warm referrals shift the whole curve.

@Autistic_Lauren I do it cause I forget people's names all the time even people that I see somewhat regularly and I feel terrible about it I don't do it on purpose but I cant help it I'm too stupid
