continuing from yesterday, i think everything about this au is fine and good and fits. i just found it really weird when Papyrus’ Belief started gaining traction a few years back some fans used it as a way to bash disbelief since it didn’t line up with their view of “canon”

@stretchgamingin some dusttale projects try too hard to make it make sense and in the end make something that feels watered down instead

happy birthday disbelief! wanted to sketch phase 3 to show my appreciation for the project and also sketched phase 1 a few months ago #undertale

@flamesatgames i think disbelief singlehandedly snowballed my undying love for papyrus and has to be the fan project i was the most obsessed over when i was really getting into undertale as a kid. thank you for that

@PROV1_D3NCE @Slowpok09405804 despite its flaws brothership is an amazing return for what seemed like a dead series, the studio that took over did such a good job at keeping it faithful to what makes a mario and luigi game while still doing their own thing and giving the game its own identity

@kasshaert @Slowpok09405804 oh no definitely. all of the Mario RPGS are PERFECT for first time rpg players. maybe except Paper Jam and its ungodly story progression and sidetracking... but whatever. you get the point. If anything though. I'd say the best is probably Brothership with how accessible it is.

@Cheemsburbgerrr i do think people were right to react the way they did to him and how he handled the copyright problems with undertale and deltarune fan music, he was very unprofessional with a lot of his own personal thoughts being projected into his responses to concerned fans and composers

@kasshaert Also utdr fans tend to have extremely reactive opinions so I tend not to take them at face value
