@kat_lfc13 @LFC Did we watch a different match? There was a foul on the first goal. A fabricated penalty. Four yellow cards weren't given before the first goal. The referee did everything to disrupt Galatasaray's game. I'm not even counting UEFA.
English

@hellci1905 @LFC Galatasaray’s game plan seemed to consist entirely of faking injuries in an attempt to disrupt Liverpool’s rhythm.
We absolutely battered you. 4-0 was seriously flattering. It’s delusional to blame the referee.
English

@kat_lfc13 @LFC The referee entered the field to disrupt Galatasaray's game plan. Instead of showing cards for harsh fouls, he let the game continue. There was a foul on the first goal, the penalty was fabricated... You bought this referee.
English

@hellci1905 @LFC I must have missed the ref breaking Osimhen’s arm. We missed the penalty, had a goal disallowed for no reason and missed a few sitters. It should have been about 8-0.
English

@LFC You failed to give 4 yellow cards before the first goal. You awarded a fabricated penalty before the first half ended.
When the players learned that Osimhen’s arm was broken, they went into the second half demoralized and ended up conceding 3 goals.
Did you sleep peacefully?

English

@bigwagonman @CDEccleshare He was but that left footed curler was more reminiscent of 17/18 Salah than 24/25 Salah
English

@CDEccleshare Salah was the best player in the prem last season, so at best it could only a be a rolling back the ‘year’ goal imo
English

@hellci1905 @AnfieldSector We missed it anyway and had a goal disallowed for nothing 🤷♀️
English

@AnfieldSector Look at the penalty given to Liverpool.
Not only that, but the referee used all his discretionary powers in favor of Liverpool throughout the match.
It was clear something was wrong from the sudden change of referee.

@rinserinser @OptaJoe Creative players always give the ball away more because they are taking risks and trying things. We don’t want him playing safe, sideways passes.
English

@JamesPearceLFC Thank Christ it wasn’t a tight game because the officiating was woeful
English

@ballerslfc @AnfieldSector Exactly, so start him in the middle. We’ll have no width and it will be too congested through the middle.
English

@kat_lfc13 @AnfieldSector He’s not gonna be on the wing, he comes inside of the left
English

@RRicklfc @JamesPearceLFC Because he’s not ready to start two games in three days.
What I can’t understand is the persistence with Mac Allister and Wirtz being shoved out wide again.
English

@JamesPearceLFC I don’t understand how Rio is not in this starting line up? Hes been our most attacking player in the last couple of games. Was brought off on the hour last match (despite his threat) I thought in readiness for this match. Slot is now entering the fully deluded era!
English

#LFC line up v Galatasaray: Alisson, Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Ekitike, Wirtz
Subs: Mamardashvili, Woodman, Gomez, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Robertson, Nyoni, Nallo, Morrison, Ngumoha.
Indonesia

Wirtz shoved out on the wing again and still persisting with Mac Allister ahead of Jones. Why? 😫
Liverpool FC@LFC
The Reds to take on Galatasaray 👊🔴 #UCL
English

@LFCApproved Not arsed and probably won’t watch but you’re going to the effort of creating a line up 🥴
English

@Fumbi29 @MelissaReddy_ It seems highly unlikely as they will know the consequences now
English

@hassan2hafeez @LewisClarke_ @MelissaReddy_ There are no winners from this tournament now however it plays out. There’s always going to be an asterisk by the title and the Morocco players know they didn’t win it on the pitch.
English

@kat_lfc13 @LewisClarke_ @MelissaReddy_ That's why it will be an easy win for Senegal if they decide to go to CAS.
CAF just made a mockery of themselves. See what the players are now doing, it's not looking good for the continent at all & to make matters worse, they even reduced & removed fines to xm Moroccans
English

@hassan2hafeez @LewisClarke_ @MelissaReddy_ Yeah it was a major fuck up by CAF and the match officials
English

@kat_lfc13 @LewisClarke_ @MelissaReddy_ The rule you quoted is clear, if they decided to leave, then they shouldn't have allowed them back on the pitch. That's CAF's problem and not Senegal. You can't blame Senegal for CAF not implementing its own rules. They allowed the game to go on thinking Morocco was going to win
