@o9i6o no like I know they were probably so chaotic together but also each others closest person and confided in each other about everything. I don’t think i necessarily ship them but it’s like ya I’m living for the failed romance but the fact they still deeply care for each other

i find it so sad & disturbing that parts of the fandom genuinely believe that aang is this evil partner, hellbent on stifling katara's happiness. if katara didn't want to be with him, aang wouldn't stop her. & if katara didn't want to be with aang she simply wouldn't be with him

forbidden love is a popular trope and while people are free to headcanon or draw what they want but so much of that creative expression always involved vilifying aang/katara and realistically this is the common mindset of zutara fandom for years
