@craigaemery1 @lady_valor_07 The “honor” of your patronage?
Surely you jest!
You are just a customer.
If you don’t wish to respect American tipping culture go to McDonalds- they don’t work for tips.
Or go back to Australia.

As an Australian, I find tipping offensive. A “tip” should be what it used to mean - an above and beyond ‘extra’ for above and beyond service. As a service user I am giving the service the honour of my patronage, they should be grateful. It is not my role to pay or supplement the wage of an employee. That’s what unions, minimum wages, and enterprise bargaining are for. If the business doesn’t pay their staff enough then I should reconsider giving them my custom. This is an indictment on the working conditions in a country, that requires this. Otherwise only the rich can afford to go out, and small businesses will be forced to close. It’s a fundamentally flawed system.

@GlennClarkRadio @MBordick Give me guys that hit doubles or singles any day of the week. They put additional pressure on the pitcher and defense. Lay down a bunt every once in a while.

@PigTownSports Time to call Trevor Bauer.
1. We are in dire straits.
2. He will play for free (donate his league-minimum salary to The Orioles Charitable Foundation).
3. The backlash will give baseball fans a hot topic to discuss.
4. It will blow over when he pitches well.

Since 6/20/24
Not one Oriole has over an .800 OPS
7 have a 25% or higher K rate
Only 3 players above a 100 wRC+
Only 3 active players with over 700 PA
Just so much turn over and bad play all around

On June 20, 2024, the Orioles crushed the Yankees for a 17-5 win in the Bronx. Mike Elias later referenced June 2024 as when the Orioles were "on top of the sport in almost every facet." Baltimore was 49-25 following that win after going 101-61 the year before. The organization also had a top-ranked farm system. Since that win, the Orioles went 42-46 to finish the 2024 campaign, 75-87 last season, and are now 15-19 this year after three straight losses to the Yankees. In total, that is a 132-152 record. That is a .465 winning percentage — or a 75-win pace over a 162-game season.

A far-left antifa LGBTQ+ radical was arrested over an arson attack that occured on Jan. 14 to the Comal County Republican Headquarters in New Braunfels, Texas.
Grace Carol Brown, 21, was charged with burglary of a building and arson. Brown's social media shows she is a participant in the "No Kings" protests, previously raised money for Palestinian nationalism and keeps a list of recommended leftist reading.
Brown is being held on a $200,000 bond. The FBI is assisting in the ongoing investigation, more charges or arrests are expected to come at a later date. ngocomment.com

@farmingandJesus I simmer it with a sliced apple, sliced onion to taste, black pepper to taste, and add a little water if needed, for 2-3 hours.
Extra yummy with roast turkey, mashed sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce❣️

I’m really embarrassed to share this, but I desperately need your advice. I only have one real friend, and after today I’m not sure she’s even that. I took her to see my wedding dress and she couldn’t stop making faces before finally telling me it’s “too tight and doesn’t flatter my body.”
I’ve been dreaming about this dress for months—the lace detail, the way it hugs my curves, that gorgeous open back. When I put it on, I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. But now all I can hear is her voice saying, “it’s just not flattering.”
I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life and finally learned to love my body. This dress celebrates my figure instead of hiding it, which felt revolutionary after decades of wearing shapeless clothes to avoid judgment. But now I’m wondering if I’m deluding myself.
I found this boutique from a recommendation by one of the crafters I follow online—I ordered most of my wedding decor from her shop. The staff there made me feel gorgeous, but now I’m questioning whether they were just being nice to make a sale.
My fiancé hasn’t seen the dress yet, and I’m terrified he’ll feel the same way my friend did. Should I trust how I looked and felt in this dress, or listen to the one person whose opinion I thought I could count on?
I need honest feedback from strangers. Does this dress really look bad, or should I trust my instincts and wear what makes me feel beautiful on my wedding day?
