These are The Facts of the two astronauts stuck in space: June 5, 2024: Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore launched to the ISS on Boeing's Starliner for its first crewed test flight, planned for 8-10 days. June 6, 2024: Starliner docked at the ISS but faced helium leaks and 5 of 28 reaction control thrusters failing, critical for safe maneuvering and reentry. August 2024: NASA deemed Starliner unsafe for crewed return after extensive testing; decided to bring it back uncrewed. September 6, 2024: Starliner returned to Earth without crew, freeing a docking port at the ISS (limited to 2 U.S. capsules). September 29, 2024: SpaceX Crew-9 mission launched with 2 empty seats for Williams and Wilmore, but their return was tied to Crew-10’s arrival. February 2025: Crew-10 launch delayed from February to late March 2025 for SpaceX to prepare a new Crew Dragon spacecraft. March/April 2025: Williams and Wilmore expected to return home after Crew-10 arrives, extending their ISS stay to over 9 months. Facts: ISS had ample supplies (food, water, oxygen) via resupply missions; astronauts conducted research and maintenance during the delay. Follow me for more of The Facts on viral videos.

Elon, I have long admired you and what you have accomplished, especially at SpaceX and Tesla. You know as well as I do, that Butch and Suni are returning with Crew-9, as has been the plan since last September. Even now, you are not sending up a rescue ship to bring them home. They are returning on the Dragon capsule that has been on ISS since last September.

I'm supposed to be writing an article about asteroid deflection but instead I googled on "Chicxulub Crater" and keep refreshing the page... ☄️💥

Inget bidrag är för litet! Det är hela tanken - om många ger lite var så blir slutsumman ändå stor.

Biografen @kinolund bygger ut! Vi samlar in pengar via Kickstarter. Jag har gjort mycket av det grafiska materialet, som bilden nedan och massor av varianter. Med drygt 1 dygn kvar & 1,3 milj insamlade kronor är det största målet på 1,5 milj möjligt! kickstarter.com/projects/kino-…

Art can be used to share our interests in astrobiology in amazing number of ways. From the SAGANet logo (by Katarina Eriksson) that I have tattooed on my arm to my own cameo in a comic book on astrobiology (drawing by Tyrell Cannon), I've been enamored with the ways that artists and musicians and creators can tell stories and share our ideas about our place in the cosmos. If you're interested in how art can be used to share astrobiology, you should tune in tomorrow for an all new Ask an Astrobiologist, which will feature Dr. Aaron Gronstal, the artist behind the NASA Astrobiology Graphic History series. We'll talk about the all new issue that's going to be released at AbSciCon next week and focuses on the question "How do I become an astrobiologist?". youtube.com/live/95AWvN5G9…

I fail to see any logic here but it doesn't matter because it's still funny! 🐸

Chandra, the space-based observatory that brings us incredible x-ray images of extreme environments in the cosmos, is at risk of cancellation. It’ll be a huge loss to astronomy if the mission ends early for budget reasons. Go to savechandra.org to help #SaveChandra

These are the scenes that the Kremlin 🇷🇺 did their utmost to prevent. It requires courage by citizens to go there and show their emotions - they are certain to have been recorded by the regime security service. twitter.com/KevinRothrock/…
