@SH_92_x I have my Grandad’s alarm clock on my bedside table and my Grannie’s favourite mug. Lots of other little bits too, but those are used every day and keeps them close.

At my grans… it feels surreal. Dad asked to pick anything we wish to keep. I chose all her baking things. Gran would bake with us every weekend as children, now I can bake with my own children with all our grandma’s accessories/bowls etc. I miss her terribly. 🥺🤍🙏🏼

Hilarity ensued this afternoon in a Y9 English cover when I, a Chemistry teacher, had no idea what a “polyptoton” was, even after Google. Please tell me I’m not the only one?!

@MissEmmaTurner I saw mine yesterday and she said teachers were her worst patients because they never heeded the advice to take time to rest and recover properly. I felt very told off so currently hiding in bed with a guilty conscience for not being at school!

Spoke to my GP today he called to check in about my bloods etc. General chit chat. He told me the majority of his and his colleagues patients lately have been teachers. He said such kind words about the profession but said something needs to change.

Browsing my bookcases and still think this is my favourite book ever! Read it so many times as kid and definitely a huge reason why I got into reading all those years ago. Apparently this edition with the random bloke on the back is quite rare too! 😅📚

@Shabnamagram Same! I shouldn’t eat it but I do, because bread and pasta and pizza… I then have a flare up and have a month of going completely gluten free - not sure this is the best way but there we go 🫣😂

Anyone on Edexcel Alevel Geog created any paper 1,,2,3 that aren’t just exam wizard or past papers? Our y13s have blitzed through all of them and are doing the locked 2024 for their PPEs and we just want more Qs for them
