Dear Fake Journalist @jessmachadoshow, I’d think you’d want to check your facts but it’s ok. I have some facts of my own. You’re probably going to want to stay tuned. I can say one thing. In the entire time I’ve been on this platform, I’ve battled daily with bullies. First the anti’s and then people more broadly within the Turtleworld universe on every side. NEVER, during that entire time, has someone ever been enough of a scumbag to post my children online. Never have I posted anyone else’s children online with the exception of with proper redaction if the story related to them. You are not a good person and you’re damn sure not a journalist. Do you think it’s ok to read stories on the internet that you’re not involved in at all and then reach out to peoples friends and families and employers in real life? Do you think it’s your job to try and intimidate people into not testifying in a court case? Do you follow news in Boston and want to talk about whether I’m meeting the parameters of being a “good catholic”? You morons all make the same mistake. I’m friends with Meredith. At one point I was friends with both of them. None of the decisions I’m making are based on that. They weren’t about having picked sides. They aren’t about Meredith at all, frankly. They are about the prospect that I won’t be used as a weapon and especially not when one side is lying about what happened and is the one attempting to force me to speak about it for months. I did choose a side now but that had nothing to do with Meredith and everything to do with his actions. I chose to tell the truth. First, you definitely don’t deserve a response from me based on recent events and statements you made that I will address later but you’ve now gone on and on about me and about what happened in court yesterday that you admittedly DIDN’T see. The attorney had no idea who Paul was. Paul’s weird little story that oddly included his description of “staring Meredith down” after making several threatening statements in advance, and then driving 500 miles to attend, never even happened. In fact, I was shocked that Paul didn’t pull a move like that and if there was an actual “stare down” no one noticed. Thank god he wrote about it so we actually know it happened now. Despite having definitely heard the name “Purple Koolaid” the attorney actually had no idea who that was until all of the reporting after the fact. It was a tiny courtroom and as he was grabbing his jacket to put it on the jacket accidentally brushed up against Paul. Hardly the crime of the century. You also didn’t report what happened immediately after which was the attorney leaning over and saying he was sorry and Paul responding something to the effect of “don’t worry about it” or “no problem”. What happened in the courtroom was simply the smallest amount of inadvertent contact that is being blown up by the big internet tough guy acting like a baby. The court interpreter was sitting next to me and when she got up, her bag accidentally brushed my shoulder. Should I have called a whambulance about it or gone online to scream it wasn’t fair? What actually DID happen in the courtroom was all the people showed up. Everyone kept to themselves like they should in court aside from a Kearney supporter getting caught filming and taking pictures with her cellphone in the court room undoubtedly to be used later to attempt to ridicule people. Even then, they simply told her to delete the photos and leave when she pretended to have no idea she couldn’t film. What you should be reporting on and encouraging is how people coming to observe should conduct themselves appropriately. In the hallway after the hearing, a woman ran up to the attorney like a maniac and tried scolding him for the inadvertent contact he had already apologized for. That caused us to go back into a segregated area to get away from “the circus”, albeit small, of people who can’t simply contain themselves to behave appropriately in court. The court officers did an excellent job under conditions they absolutely hate and frankly shouldn’t have to deal with when adults come to court. Upon leaving, the attorney walked out the door and attempted to hold it for Meredith and I. Tom, weirdly crowding the door, went for his trademark Tom Basketball Flop and failed miserably like he usually does. He did this after publicly making the case in his stream in advance that her attorney was a problem. Is this shocking behavior from Tom? What was more shocking was the passing back and forth of a knife and a box cutter between Tom and Paul. That definitely should rate some reporting from you but apparently you’re the Tom News Network now. The stop at the top of the stairs was Meredith pulling her phone out to make sure she could record if anyone was harassing her on the way out of court. We simply walked down the stairs and left because we didn’t really feel the need to stay and witness any more circus acts. All and all, for the most part, everyone behaved in court and we literally didn’t exchange words with anyone. If you want to switch to fiction, feel free, but don’t call yourself a journalist while doing it.
