@immigrantsnews What does being white have to do with it? There are lots of tech savvy people of all ethnicities on Twitter. Don’t turn people against each other because of their skin colour. This fiasco is because the government opened the floodgates instead of targeting those most at risk
@c4ndysp4rrow@TorontoStar Ten of thousands of appointments went unfilled 2 weeks ago in Ontario and QC, so yes, blame your Premier because you could have gotten it.
Check vaccine hunters
Health restrictions could be safely lifted “this summer” if at least 75 per cent of Canadians get their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 20 per cent have the recommended two doses by then, according to the federal modelling data. thestar.com/politics/feder…

@Captrjd@CBCAdrianH@SCC_eng Ok point taken. But the fact that no non-white person has ever been on the S.C to me says we have a ways to go in ensuring people from all ethnic backgrounds have equal opportunities. Also, we need Indigenous judges to represent legal traditions that predate European contact.
@CBCAdrianH@SCC_eng It's not the colour of the skin that makes the judge. And they don't rule based on it either. The Charter is colourless. Supreme Court is there to hold the Charter for everyone, not for a culture, or a race. Playing identity politics is disingenuous, and a dangerous proposition
In 145 years only White people have sat on Canada’s Supreme Court. Indeed not a single Canadian government (Liberal or Conservative) has even nominated an #Indigenous or non-White individual to Canada’s top court. #BIPOC#SCC@SCC_eng
