Would also like to add that fanfic writers are not… influencers or the weird celebrityish (idk the perfect word to use here) feeling that has emerged around certain writers. We are all fans. We are all silly people writing silly stories about our silly favorite characters.

AO3 is not social media, it's a library. Fanfic is not content, it's a hobby. Fic writers are not published authors who should stay out of fan spaces. They ARE fans. Fic readers are not clients or customers, they're fellow fans. The sooner people realise all that, the better.

kinda hating all the writing fanfiction discourse going on. we don't need:
- rules for amount of words to write
- timeframe to deliver a chapter/new fic
- demanding updates rudely
we need:
- basic support (like or rt or kudos or comment).

@kkiwibin It's not that hard. Folks need to chill and be appreciative of what's written for them to read... for FREE. I have all the love for what the prolific fanfic authors give to me.
